Nelson Plant Food Corp. was founded in 1983 for the express purpose of developing, manufacturing, and distributing the highest quality fertilizer products possible.
From the beginning, intensive research was performed to find not only the best raw materials possible, but also the best method of blending them together to produce agronomically correct formulations. Whether the target plant is turf, an ornamental bed, or container grown nursery stock, you can rest assured that our best efforts have been made to provide the best possible product for each application.
Utilizing our own fertilizer blending and bagging plant located in Bellville, Texas, we are able to produce and test any formulation that our creativity can invent. We are proud of many "firsts" in the fertilizer industry for this part of the United States. Some of them include impregnating pesticides, combining organic with non-organic plant food sources on a wide scale, custom blending as little as one ton to exact specifications based on soil testing, and many others. We innovate.
